How to Prepare for Your Appointment

A little preparation goes a long way in achieving the best possible results. Please review the following guidelines before your appointment.

Makeup Preparation

  • Exfoliate your skin and apply a generous moisturizer the night before or the morning of your appointment.

  • Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face whenever possible.

  • Avoid facials, chemical peels, waxing, or threading for at least 3 days before your appointment to minimize skin sensitivity.

  • Inform your artist of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to your service.

  • If you have inspiration photos, please have them ready to discuss during your appointment.

Hair Preparation

  • Wash your hair the night before using shampoo only. Please do not use conditioner, as it can make the hair too soft for styling.

  • Ensure your hair is completely dry before your appointment.

  • If your hair is naturally frizzy or very curly, lightly straighten it using a heat protectant.

  • Do not apply oils, serums, leave-in conditioners, or styling products.

  • Hair should be free of excessive buildup, as clean hair provides the best foundation for long-lasting styles.

Please Note:
If your hair is wet upon arrival, a $40 blow-dry fee will apply. If time does not permit blow-drying, we may be unable to complete your service.

Hair Extensions

If you will be wearing hair extensions:

  • Please have them clean, brushed, and ready for installation.

  • Bridal extension application is included with bridal services.

  • Extension application for event hairstyling is available for an additional fee.

On the Day of Your Appointment

  • Wear a button-up shirt, robe, or zip-up top to avoid disturbing your hairstyle or makeup when changing.

  • Have your jewelry, veil, hair accessories, and any hairpieces ready.

  • Please ensure your styling area has good natural light and access to an electrical outlet.

  • Arrive on time so we can stay on schedule, especially for weddings and larger group bookings.

Our Goal

We want your appointment to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Following these preparation guidelines will help ensure your makeup and hairstyle look flawless, last beautifully throughout your event, and photograph perfectly from beginning to end.
